Mark Carrigan
BVSc (Hons), MACVSc, Dip ACVP—Specialist Veterinary Pathologist, Chief Pathologist

After graduation from the University of Sydney in 1974, Mark was a clinical instructor at the University of Sydney 1975 to 1978, followed by two years in mixed and small-animal practice in England. From 1981 to 1994, he worked as a pathologist at the NSW government's veterinary laboratory at Orange, during which time he also spent two years (1992 to 1994) as a staff pathologist at the University of California, Davis, USA. Mark joined IDEXX in 1995. He is a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists, a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, and has authored over 25 scientific publications. Mark's special interests include surgical pathology and the pathology of infectious diseases.
