SNAP® residue tests consist
of three simple components

Draw the milk sample to the indicator line
(450 µL ±50 µL).
Add the sample to the tube and shake it.
Incubate the tube and device at 45°C ±5°C for:
Beta-Lactam5 minutes
Tetracycline5 minutes
Aflatoxin M15 minutes
Gentamicin2 minutes |

Add the sample to the sample well of the device.
Watch the sample travel to the activation circle. Snap the
activator completely as the activation circle BEGINS
to disappear. DO NOT let the activation circle completely
disappear.

For proper colour development, continue incubating the device as
indicated below:
Beta-Lactam4 minutes
Tetracycline4 minutes
Aflatoxin M14 minutes
Gentamicin7 minutes

Interpretation with the SNAPshot®
Reader
- Turn on the SNAPshot Reader.
- Use the stylus to select "Read Test."
- Tap the test you want to run.
- Tap each prompted field to enter required information and tap OK.
- Insert the SNAP device and tap OK.
- Easy-to-interpret results print automatically.
