Richard Ploeg
BVSc, MACVSc—Veterinary Pathologist
After graduation from the University of Sydney
in 1996, Richard worked in mixed and small-animal practice for two
years. He was then a resident and later an associate lecturer in
veterinary pathology and anatomy at the University of Queensland. In 2002
he worked as a pathologist at the Queensland government's veterinary
laboratory at Yeerongpilly. Richard joined IDEXX in 2002. He
attained membership of the Australian College of Veterinary
Scientists in 2004, and has completed a MPhil thesis on
canine vascular neoplasia. Richard's special interests include splenic
pathology, dermatopathology and immunohistochemistry.
