Mark Carrigan
BVSc (Hons), MACVSc, DACVP—Specialist Veterinary Pathologist, Acting Chief Pathologist

After graduation from the University of Sydney in 1974, Mark was a clinical instructor at the University of Sydney, followed by two years in mixed and small-animal practice in England. From 1977 to 1994, he worked as a pathologist at the NSW government's veterinary laboratory at Orange, during which time he also spent two years as a staff pathologist at the University of California, Davis, USA. Mark joined IDEXX in 1995. He is a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists, a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists, and has authored over 25 scientific publications. Mark's special interests include microbiology and the pathology of infectious diseases.
