Patented IDEXX technology
The IDEXX SNAP® Reader is a
digital camera and image-analysis instrument that acquires and
processes images of specific, individual SNAP tests designed for use
with the instrument. An incubator and an automatic timer make it easy
to run the SNAP® tests.
Working
with the VetTest® Chemistry Analyser, the SNAP
Reader walks you through the test protocol with a series of on-screen
and audible prompts. The instrument takes digital images of developing
tests and uses test-specific software algorithms to calculate test
results, display the test results on the SNAP Reader and VetTest
screens, and print results either on the complete IDEXX
VetLab® report, the VetTest
analyser or an external printer.
In just minutes, one single, easy-to-read
lab report provides an accurate and complete picture of your
patient's health status, so you can explain your findings to the pet
owner, point out abnormalities, discuss recommendations and
confidently begin treatment.
